What is the best way to treat verrucae?

Verrucae are due to a virus called Human Papilloma Virus.

Topical over the counter preparations containing salicylic acid are effective, but require time and discipline to apply daily. Cryotherapy offers approximately a 85% success rate. Cryotherapy creates an injury which increases the rate at which your body gets rid of the virus. Often multiple sessions may be required.
